Signs God Is Preparing You for Greatness

9 Powerful Signs God Is Preparing You for Greatness (Part 1)

What are we talking about today? Today we are talking about 9 signs you are destined for Greatness. I would love to call them the 9 secret signs. You are destined for greatness, and I believe that as long as you are destined for greatness, you will resonate with all these signs, meaning as long as you have the divine mechanism that makes the great the great. This message will hit home. Rather, the science will hit home.

And I believe in the Holy Ghost that I’m here to talk to you—Jeremiah one verse: 5 reads. Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee, and before thou cometh forth out of the womb, I sanctified the end; I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

So according to God, one is great, not because they have a big house. Not because they have a big car. Nothing wrong with that. I’m not saying that people who have that are not great, but that is not a measuring stick for your greatness.

So when it comes to God, your greatness starts from within. Hence, these signs are going to help you locate that which is in you, but not born to time. Jeremiah was a prophet, but his prophetic anointing wasn’t yet born to time until God made him aware. Once you become aware, you start travelling in the direction of what you do. So let us look at these signs.

Sign Number 1:  Is when you know you are destined for greatness

Yes, sign number one is when you know you are destined for greatness, and that is because your spirit man is away. You see, there are times when you begin to know, without anybody telling you, that there is more to it than what I am seeing. There is more to who I am than what people are used to. There is more to who I am than what people settle for.

The number one sign you are destined for greatness is knowing you are, because God has wired every person destined for greatness. To know it without anyone telling you.

Sign Number 2: When life feels so hard

When life feels so hard

And the second sign is when life feels so hard. Why is life feeling hard? Remember, according to sign number one, you have perceived that you are destined for greatness. So now, some of you know you are destined for greatness, but in your Practice, the moment your mind becomes conscious of it, other people will start seeing it. And once they start seeing it, it means the devil can see it, too. And once he sees it, he throws everything that he has on you.

So he’s fighting you now so that you don’t become. So he’s indirectly fighting you tomorrow, but fighting you to do it. Because he knows if he stops you today, there is no tomorrow. Suppose he discourages you today; no wins tomorrow. If you start sleeping on the bed of discouragement, he has won.

Because he knows that once you see results, it will be difficult for him to fight you. Because you will say What I saw God do before, the same God who did this, he will know that once you have a testimony, it is difficult for the enemy. He knows that it’s difficult for the enemy to bring down anybody with the testimony.

So he fights you so that you never become you, then conclude. You know what, I always thought I was great, or you. It now looks as if it was something that was just in your mind, and you start feeling like everyone feels that way. But the truth is, not everyone feels their destiny for greatness; if you didn’t know, only some people do. With this divine mechanism, we’re talking about people destined for greatness.

I believe it is in the book of Luke, chapter 12, and I believe it’s 48. And it says To whom much is given, much is required; much is expected. When God gives you this much, this much will be required of you. One thing about God is that He will never let anything come your way that you can’t handle. That you won’t handle.

Sign Number 3: When people misunderstand you

When people misunderstand you

Not just you here, but your goals, your dreams and your plans. I’m not talking about you giving them a reason to misunderstand you. You know some people are misunderstood and mishandled because they gave people a reason to do so.

Jesus never gave the people of Nazareth a reason not to honour Him. He never gave them a reason not to welcome him. Not to appreciate him. But I want you to understand that because he was great, they didn’t honour a prophet in his hometown.

And in this case, when I say people misunderstand you, it goes deeper than just people. I’m talking about your family members not understanding or being unable to interpret you. Others start thinking something is wrong with you.

Sometimes people misunderstand you, especially in your sphere of influence, because people destined for greatness, believe it or not, are often ahead of their generation. And because they are ahead of their generation, they see things that people around them can see. And when you are destined for greatness, there is no time to be nice.

Don’t be nice to yourself. Don’t be nice to the enemy, because the enemy is merciless. Once he picks up that you are great, he throws everything at you. When Peninnah misunderstood Hannah, it wasn’t because she was useless. Or Hanna was a crybaby. It’s because Hannah was destined for greatness.

For 27 years, she prayed for a baby. But here’s what I want to tell you. She was destined for greatness because the enemy tried to stop her. Not stopping her, but stopping something. And in stopping Samuel, the enemy was also stopping Israel. In stopping Israel, the enemy was stepping David Aiya in stopping David.

The enemy stopped Jesus because Hannah bore Samuel. Samuel was the first prophet to anoint Israel’s king. And in the days of Samuel, people were in a theocracy, were in a democracy. Theo means God. So God led a nation through a prophet, and when they rejected him, he went to God and said, “The people of Israel rejected me.” And God said, ” Not only did they reject you, but they rejected me also.

Give them a key, no problem. Are you hearing what I’m saying? Then later, God comes and says, “There’s a key that I, the Lord, have separated, set apart and chosen for myself, going anointing.”

But wait a minute, who is Samuel Hannah? Son, what happened in the life of Hannah? Hannah spent years without a baby. But what was happening? She and her family cried year after year and prayed. Peninnah mocked her. Peninnah laughed at her. She was a laughingstock. She was a joke in the eyes of Peninnah, the second wife of Elkanah. Yet her breakthrough was Israel’s breakthrough.

So some of you don’t understand that your breakthrough is your mother’s breakthrough. Your breakthrough is your children’s breakthrough. Your breakthrough is your cousin’s breakthrough. Your breakthrough is other people’s breakthrough.

Children will go to school; schools will be built. Are you hearing what I’m saying?

Sign number 4: You begin to have prophetic dreams and visions.

So you must pay attention to what you see in dreams. Job 33 verse 14: God speaks once here twice, but men perceive that not. Verse 15: In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon me, in the slumberings of the bed, he opens the ears of men and seals their instructions.

Numbers 12: 6: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, will make myself known unto him in a vision, and I will speak to him in a dream. Acts 2: 17: In the last days, God will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh; your sons and daughters shall prophesy.

Your young men shall see visions. And your old men shall dream trees. You will have prophetic dreams, just like Joseph, whom God showed; he knew his destination, but God never showed him the process. He knew this is where I’m going, but he did not know how he was gonna get there.

So he held onto that prophetic dream. He held on to that prophetic vision. He has seen the end, but he does not know how he’s going to get there.

So, for some of you, as long as you’re destined for greatness, He won’t hide it. You won’t hide it from you; He won’t take it away from you. In a sense, He won’t hide it; He will show it to you in so many ways. Prophetic dreams and visions are a primary way through which God will show you.

But we are not done yet, because these are only the first five signs that may help you understand your journey towards greatness. In Part Two, we will explore four more signs, including why you may find yourself helping others while struggling to find support, why you may feel called to break unhealthy patterns in your family, why you carry a strong desire to succeed, and why service is one of the greatest foundations of true greatness.

Do not miss Part Two, because the final sign is one of the most important lessons you need to understand about becoming truly great. Stay connected to Real Life Affair, and let us continue this journey together.
