Let’s quickly go deeper on this one. One of the things God will do, as long as you are chosen, is show you the end, the destination, but not the process. That’s why you are wondering Why are people hating on me? Why is it that people are jealous of me? Why is it that people are walking on me? Yet I’m somebody who loves everyone. I’m somebody who does not fight anyone. I’m not envious.
Why are people doing what they’re doing to me? And why is life so difficult? Yet I know I am chosen. Why is life so bitter toward me, yet I know I am chosen, and I have seen where God himself said He’s taking us. God will show you the end, but He will never show you the process or what you are dealing with. Believe it or not, curse is part of the process.
Remember a man in the Bible called Joseph. God showed him the end but never the process. He never saw himself going to the pit. He never saw his brothers betray him. He never saw himself in prison. He didn’t see all these things. All he saw was the end. So he knew this is what I’m called for, this is what I’m chosen for, this is what I’m destined for. But he didn’t know what it would take to get there.
As long as you are chosen by God, as long as God calls you, you will go through some things, I mean, some that most of the time you can’t even explain. That’s why Scripture declares to whom much is given, much is expected. What that means is that whatever negative thing you’re experiencing isn’t really after you; it is after what God has put in you.
You feel it because you carry what God has put in you. So the enemy is not after the container. The enemy is after their content. He’s after what you have that is not yet born. So he’s fighting it so that it cannot manifest, because once it manifests, it will be too late for him to stop it.
So instead of you sitting back in the corner and saying, you know what, I don’t want this. And say, you know what, this is difficult and grumble, so to speak. And I want you to have a revelation that says, “God has shown me the end.”
This is a process. No matter what, no matter the matter, it shall come to pass. Because the more you complain, the more you grumble, the more you delay yourself.
Remember, Scripture declares that the journey from Egypt to Canaan was supposed to be 40 days, but it took 40 years because of their murmuring. So every time God moves a chosen people or a chosen person from one level to another, make sure you don’t murmur.
The moment you start murmuring when God is taking you from one place to another, and you start complaining, you are not doing yourself a favour; you are delaying yourself, and you need to understand why the process is so difficult.
It is so difficult because that season, or that moment we call it the season of preparation, is a gift. Let’s break this down. A gift has four stages, but let me quickly give you 3. There is a stage where it is born; we say it’s born not because you received the gift at that moment, but because you came to realise it, right?
You came to know about the gift. So that is the stage where your gift is born or birthed. But there is an important stage where your gift is nurtured. Your gift is being prepared, and in that season, things will go haywire. But if you know that, you know that. You know that God himself has called you. God himself has chosen you. No matter what, you come out victorious.
You already know that; you are fighting from a position of victory. You are victorious; your victory is certain in Christ Jesus. It is just a matter of time, and you need to show faith, and that’s all. Because if God were to show us the end and show us the process, there would be no need for us to need faith.
It means we are just going to work through, and, you know, life will no longer be interesting. Life would be so boring. That is the reason why God does not show us the process, but shows us the end.
So that in between, we will need faith. So keep the faith, keep going, keep going. I promise you, in the Holy Ghost, you shall become who God has said you will become, and you’re going to be what no one in your generation has become.
You are the chosen one, and that is why you feel the way you do. No wonder you are fighting what your siblings aren’t fighting. No wonder you are dealing with what your colleagues are not dealing with at your workplace, because you are the chosen one.
So as the chosen one, embrace your identity. Embrace who you are, and that is the most important thing. Here’s the key: don’t be apologetic.
