Pay attention to this; I don’t want you to forget it. I’ve learned through experience that once you align with the will of God, once you are in a place where God has destined and planned for you to be, doing the assignment He has called you to do, and doing the perfect will of God- because there’s something called the perfect will of God, there’s an acceptable will of God, and the acceptable will of God is not the perfect will of God. But I’ll come to that later.
Once you’re aligned with what God wants you to do, there’s another level of anointing; there is another level of wisdom; there is another level of grace; there’s another level of wealth that rests upon you; that is almost 10 times what you used to feel before you entered that space.
So you’ve limited the Holy Spirit to just church activities. You think the job of the Holy Spirit is only to follow you in church, and you pray, fall and break chairs for the power of God to move in that space of church. But you forget that the Holy Spirit you enjoy in church is still the same Holy Spirit who dwells in Jesus Christ, who did extra and amazing things.
Do you know that some of the people we read about in the Bible, the ones you see as superhuman… For example, you heard that Samson did something great in the Bible. You heard that David destroyed Goliath, you hear some crazy thing about the wisdom of Solomon; and you think that those things they did are because they are something else? The truth is that they only did these things by the power of the holy spirit.
I want you to understand that it was the same then as it is today. Do not think that it only happened in the Old Testament. The only difference from then and now is just that, at that time, the Lamb of God had not yet been slain.
Remember when Jesus said, “I will go to the Father”? In John 14:28 But I will send you a comforter. Know this today: all you need to make yourself a tool in the hands of God is to keep yourself in alignment with that which He has appointed you to do. He has a special assignment for each of us, but what delays it is your inability to conform to and align with His purpose and plans for us.
Since Jesus paid the ultimate price on the cross of Calvary, the Holy Spirit no longer comes to you; it lives in you. And all you need to do to let Him use you to perform signs and wonders is to align yourself with His plans for you.
So, what that means is that you are carrying that full power of God inside of you. That means you are a mobile divine deity. Why do you now think that God said in Psalm 82: 6 that you are god? Yes, He said that, and he also said that you will end up like mere men. This is because we are created in the image of God: His likeness and His function. So, what men of the Old Testament waited for several years to have inside of them is what you now have inside of you without waiting for too long to have it.
Yet you limited it to just those activities. As a matter of fact, the way it is planned is that once you align with the will of God for you, you will have the kind of wisdom you will be displaying even in your workplace, and it will be so astonishing to you. Sometimes you will be speaking, and you will be like, “Where is this thing coming from?”
The spirit of God in you should not start and end when you are in your church or place of worship. It is supposed to follow you to government space, to your business place, and to the gathering of your relatives.
God has placed in you the same power given to David and other great and powerful men in the Bible; the power that made them do all the great things you read about in the Bible; you have it now. So, it is up to you to showcase and demonstrate it anywhere you find yourself, because what you are carrying is the power and spirit of excellence.
