Every setback comes with two things: pain and potential. However, unfortunately, many people get stuck in the pain, constantly asking, ‘Why me? Why now? Who did I offend? They forget to keep their eyes open, observe, and find the opportunities in the current situation. They fail to understand that there is always an opportunity for growth and learning from adversity.

See Every Setback as an Opportunity in Disguise
I want you to always have in mind that what knocks you down is the same thing that points you to your breakthrough. Let me tell you how I turned my setbacks into opportunities for breakthrough. Some years ago, I was doing my job and was doing so well till I had an accident that almost got me crippled. I fought so hard to keep moving despite the pain, but all was to no avail.
My condition then became so bad that I did not have the strength to go out for my daily hustles. This ugly situation kept me at home to the point that I could no longer feed myself, let alone pay my house rent.
One day, I started looking for ways to make money from home. That was when I began to see opportunities and potential in my computer. The funny part is that I had always had this computer lying idle in my house all this while, without realising what I could do with it.
So I picked up this computer and started learning how to design a website. At that time, I didn’t even have the money to pay for the training, but I still didn’t let it stop me. I learned it on my own with the help of YouTube tutorials and blogs. Today, I’m a professional web programmer, making more money than I used to. That is how to turn setbacks into an opportunity for growth.
Hope For the Best and Still Expect the Worst
This may sound unusual, but it remains a reality of life: while you pray and hope for the better, also prepare your mind to expect the worst. The problem with most people is that they always like to shy away from the truth, possibilities, and realities of life.
The reality is that you can never go through life without encountering difficulties and disappointments because they are an integral part of life itself.
When you kneel to pray every day, ask God to protect and save you from every disappointment. Also, ask Him to give you the grace and strength to handle them when they come, because they will surely come.
Remember that the Almighty God himself did not promise us a trouble-free and stress-free life. What He promised is that He will be with us in times of trouble. This means that life can never be trouble-free and stress-free. Consider that as part of life.
You Are Not Under Any Form of Curse; Say No to That Voice!
There is a point you will reach in that challenging time. It will make you start thinking you are under a curse or something, and you will be forced to begin believing that maybe the ancestral curse is still following you.
Even the so-called ‘men of God’ will start manipulating your mind, trying to make you think that there is an ancestral curse blocking your progress and preventing you from succeeding in your endeavours.
You see, that is why I mentioned in my previous post that what you need right now is not money. Yes, it’s not about money, because you will be busy figuring out how to raise more money so you can go back to your business, start it again, and restart it better and bigger.
Let me remind you again that what you need now is not money; what you need is to work thoroughly on your mindset. Yes, because that is the channel through which you will be attacked constantly. They will make you believe you are on a curse, which is why your business is not growing.
However, that is not the truth at all, believe me, because I am speaking from firsthand experience. Resist all these negative thoughts with your mind and watch your life take on a different, positive dimension.

Expect setbacks; always prepare your mind for them. Do you know that they are less likely to attack you when they know you are already prepared for them? There is a saying that what you fear the most is what comes to you from time to time. So, grow up and rise above being scared of them.
