Amazing Life Lessons from Overcoming Struggles

Life was never a smooth ride for me. I have walked through tough times of deep pain in the past, battled with financial struggles, confronted health issues, faced heartbreak, and dealt with broken dreams. There were days when I even wanted to give up because everything seemed too heavy to carry. But looking back now, I realise that every struggle taught me something powerful. Overcoming these challenges has revealed strengths I didn’t know I had and opened my eyes to the true meaning of life, love, and resilience.

In today’s blog post, I want to share the life lessons I have learned through my most challenging moments. If you’re facing hard times right now, know that you are not alone, and there’s real gold hidden inside your struggles. So, let’s continue.

1. The Hidden Strength You Find in Struggles

We should delve deeper into the ‘word struggle‘ to better explain this. The Cambridge dictionary defines it as: to experience difficulty and make a great effort to do something. This means that difficulty will lead you to struggles, which will compel you to make a great effort to do something that will help you overcome problems.

You will never know or understand how strong you are until life’s challenges and difficulties confront you. Struggle brings out this hidden strength and intelligence you never knew was within you. Often, struggles come to you as a preparatory process and steps toward achieving your desired goals.

So do not give up or become discouraged when faced with a struggle. These days, struggles are necessary and valuable for overcoming challenges. Always remember that they are a crucial experience that will lead to your more excellent days.

2. Pain Shapes a Stronger You

Some people genuinely feel for you in pain and pray for your quick healing. But a lot of people at the same time will be happy and continue to rejoice over your downfall. Now, these people are the ones who are rejoicing and hoping you don’t get back on your feet, and they would bring out the strength in you.

They will push you to make difficult and dominating decisions to go through this and get back on your feet, stronger and better. Going through pains and struggles can only make you a stronger and better person if you fight back. That is to say, pain can make or break you.

It will make you only if you rise to the occasion, accept the challenge, and follow through. On the other hand, it will break you when you fall for it, admit defeat, and run away from the challenge. So do not be scared of pain, for it is through pain that the Gold was processed before it became what it is.

3. Struggles Teach You Who Truly Cares

I am still of the opinion that struggle is a necessary and very important part of your life journey because if you have not been through real struggles, you will never know who truly cares about you and who does not. Until you find yourself in that situation where you need friends and family to come to your rescue, you will continue to think you are loved.

Most of the time, people rally around you just because of what they gain from you. You will be opened to this reality when you get involved in a particular kind of trouble that could lead you to pain. This is when we understand why some people live solitary lives.

I have realised that there is no such thing as. Even though you may sometimes get lucky to see someone who wants to stay with you through the challenging and painful moments, it still has a price tag. You will learn about it when you get back on your f

eet. Then you will be reminded of how much help that was given to you when you were down, and it’s time for a payback.

4. Overcoming Struggles Builds True Confidence

Overcoming struggles will give you a level of confidence that will always make you believe in yourself. Each time you go through a certain type of challenge and overcome it, it will keep reminding you over and over again that you are strong enough to overcome any challenge that may still confront you in the future. It makes you feel strong and have more confidence in your ability to triumph over adversities.

It strengthens your spirit and your faith. Remember that faith is the primary tool you need during a struggle. So whenever you are confronted by any form of struggle or challenge, try as much as possible to find peace and relaxation within you. Do not panic, and do not allow fear to take over you, because when you let fear take over you, you begin to lose it all.

Be still, be calm, and pray over it. It will surprise you how a solution will locate you.

5. Brokenness Can Birth New Dreams

I lost my job during the COVID-19 lockdown and recession, the latter of which came to me as a shock because I was giving my best in that office to the extent that I firmly believe that my director will never think of asking me to stop working for him. So I was so surprised when the sack later came.

I became devastated and confused. I didn’t know what to do next, so at some point, I picked up my phone and started searching for ways to make money online. I kept hearing that people make money online, but I didn’t know how they do it. The truth is that it even sounded too good to be true to me at the time. I started seeing a lot of tutorials on the internet teaching how to make money online.

So I decided to learn a digital skill, which is web design. Long story short, this is precisely how I became a professional web designer today. Let me remind you that I never knew anything about computers when I ventured into this tech skill acquisition. This is to let you know just one of the ways brokenness can open doors and opportunities for lucrative dreams and ideas for you.

Summary

Take your time and look at this situation properly. Observe it so closely, and you will find one or two reasons to believe that it has not come to break you; rather, it has come to make you. The best of you is about to manifest through overcoming struggles that have only come to teach you some necessary life lessons that you need to learn before you can move forward to the next level.

Remember again that every disappointment is a blessing that can also be a lesson. So do not let it scare you, embrace it, confront it head-on, and push your way through a remarkable and lifetime victory.

Keep winning, till we meet again!
