Discover How I Used Positive Thinking to Transform My Life

Positive thinking involves using your thoughts and mind positively, removing negativity and replacing it with only positive thoughts. It also consists of being optimistic about life and resisting every urge to harbour and nurture negative thoughts in your mind.
Many people are exposed to the benefits of positive thinking daily, yet they still don’t fully understand what it entails. The truth is that you have to understand it first before you can apply it and let it work for you, just as it has worked for me. In this blog post, I will explain in detail how I transformed my life through positive thinking.

1. Understanding positive thinking.

You have likely been hearing about the benefits of positive thinking for all these years. You hear about it when you attend a seminar, and you come across it sometimes when you read a book. You also heard about it from your pastor when you attended a religious gathering.
You keep hearing this from time to time, yes you know it is all about having positive thoughts or thinking positively in life, but I believe you have not understood the power of positive thinking and this is what I am about to explain to you in details today and also confirmed to you how I used it to transform my life.
So let’s continue.
You don’t just think and continue to nurture and accommodate all the positive thoughts in your head without having a clear picture of how you are going to accomplish them, even though it is a well-established fact that no idea comes to us clearly and wholly formed. But the truth is that you still have to start from somewhere.
2. You Have to Start From Somewhere.

No matter how many positive thoughts you have in your head, you can only see a positive physical result when you start taking action. You don’t just sit down and think without switching into action and then expect things to happen.
And remember that it also depends on the quality of the action you are taking. You must always insist on doing the right thing and following the due process. Many people are very conscious of their positive mindset journey, but are still confused about how to approach it or where to start.
In as much as you understand that positive thing can transform your life, how about the steps, procedues and actions that follows, the main aim of this article is to tell you exactly how I used the power of positive thinking to get myself to where I am today, and I will give you every details you want to know about as you read on, and do not forget to share your thoughts with me in the comment box because I would like to hear from you.
Now, let’s get to the main business of the day.
3. How I Use Positive Thinking to Transform My Life
All I know is that I always nurture thoughts of beautiful things in life, such as beautiful houses, beautiful cars, a beautiful wife, and kids. Most of the time, I see myself doing the things I have ever wanted to do in life. Let me tell you how I do it.
I know most of us enjoy playing and listening to good music. Yes, I enjoy listening to music a lot, and I know you do too. But let me tell you what I do whenever I play any music I choose. Let’s say I want to think and meditate about driving a good car.
First of all, I will paint a picture of the exact car I want to drive, give it my favourite colour, and also ensure I create an accurate, imaginative picture of the car I want. Now I will put on this song, close my eyes while listening to it, and begin to see myself cruising in that particular car, playing and listening to that song inside my vehicle.
Sometimes while I am doing this, I won’t even know when I will stretch out one of my arms, just like I’m driving. I enjoy this exercise so much that I always have to leave my songs on repeat. Some of my friends have noticed that I often play the same song repeatedly, but what they don’t know is the reason behind it. The reason is that I enjoy dreaming of seeing myself driving my favourite car while playing one of my best songs.
4. Turning These Dreams into Reality.

This is why I told you that it’s not just about positive thinking; you also have to take some positive steps to achieve what you want. Now the way I play and listen to this song, while dreaming about myself in my dream car, is also the way I do it for my dream house, wife and kids. You can also refer to this exercise as visualisation and meditation. But the truth is that it all starts with positive thinking.
Now, I kid you not, and I am being frank with you, I want to let you know that just the way I had all these thoughts in my head and how I visualise them in my mind is how I got them. The car, the house and so on. This is the power of positive thinking.
I would encourage you always to make sure to put your mind at rest while doing this. Please stay away from every unnecessary distraction and approach it as a mindful and intentional exercise. It works. This is how I used positive thinking to transform my life.
Summary
Do you know that what you are today, where you are today, and the type of life you are living today is a product of all the thoughts you have been allowing to go in and out of your head? Don’t doubt this; it’s real and it happens.
You’re what you think, and the quality of the life you live will continue to reflect the thoughts that keep coming in and going out of your head. Always reject any negative thoughts that try to enter your head at any moment, and replace them with positive thoughts.
Don’t just rely on the power of positive thinking; also make some intentional efforts to take action on what you have been thinking about.
