Break Every Generational Curse Using These 5 Simple Steps

A lot of people today do not even understand what this generational curse is all about. The greatest challenge of being human is ignorance. Some intentionally refuse to pay attention to it and understand what a generational curse is all about. Things keep getting worse, and they think it’s normal, so they believe that waiting and being patient with the ugly situation will solve the problem. But lo and behold, they still watch themselves wallow in abject poverty for as long as they are alive. Today I want us to briefly look into generational curses and how you can bring lasting solutions to them in five simple steps.

1. Identify the curse

Yes, it is very important that you identify this generational curse because you can never defeat or conquer an enemy you have not identified.

 What are generational curses? For those who don’t know, generational curses are limiting forces or disempowering forces of ancestral and generational connection. Hence, you are limited because of the connection you have with those who came before you.

 So, in order to break free from that, you will need to identify what you are dealing with and where the limit is: You must be ready to tell yourself the truth by admitting that: me, my sister, my brother, my mother, my father. We are limited when it comes to this area in our lives; by doing so, you have already taken a giant step into dismantling that which is afflicting you and your family

 2. Denounce your sins and the sins of your family

 Proverbs 28: 13 declares that: whoever conceals their sins will not prosper, but whoever renounces them will find Mercy. Also, Leviticus 26: 40 declares: but if you will confess your sins and the sins of your ancestors, the Lord will remember his covenant. So, you need to renounce your sins in simple terms and repent, and that is because a curse without sins or without a sin cannot stand; that is why the Bible says without a sin a curse cannot stand, and one of the major reasons why curses prevail in the lives of many is because sin gives curses their strength and the power they need to remain effective

 3. Fast and pray for three days

Someone may ask, why not one day, why not two days, but why three days. So, if you are wondering why it must be 3 days, let me remind you that three is a number of divine intervention. 3 is the number of resurrections, the number of divine wholeness. We all know what 3 means before God. It is prophetically a number of the Trinity.

You see, you can deal with other things just by praying once you have your belly full, but when it comes to curses, you need to be sober both in the physical and in the spirit. We know what our Lord and Saviour Jesus said in Matthew 17: The truth is that whenever you’re dealing with curses, you must bear in mind that you are not dealing with small things; you are dealing with entities; you are dealing with principalities that have been holding your family and monitoring every move you make, so in order to dismantle that, you need to fast, and you need to pray because no demon can stand against the power of prayer

 4. Raise an altar

 5. You must know the word for yourself

Do you know that there are some strong words of God in the bible that are specifically for you and your problems? These words are there just for you to use them and fight your battles. Remember that God told us to hold Him by His words. So you have to be so intentional about it when you are searching for the particular word of God in the bible that you can use to solve your problems. And that is because Psalm 119 declares The entrance of thy words giveth light, and so this means that the more light you carry in you, the more darkness will disappear in your life, so know the word for yourself.
