Discover the True Meaning and Power of Meditation: Achieve Calm, Focus, and Inner Peace
I can bet you that meditation, a common word, is not well understood by many people, and they don’t know how to apply it for better and more effective results. How do I know? Honestly, when I was starting, it took me some time to research, study and understand what Meditation is genuinely all about. Again, I remember asking some people whom I believed might know better; none of them were able to explain it to me as I had hoped.
So today in this blog post, I am going to break it down for you in its simplest form so that you will understand it very well and also know the simplest but most effective way to apply it so that you will get the best of its benefits. This is the best explanation of meditation and its benefits that you can find on the internet today. So all I ask of you is to sit back and relax, read and pay attention to every detail here. After reading this post, you will come to realise that you meditate almost now and then, even without knowing it.
I would also like you to share and spread this post on your social media platforms so that your friends will see and learn with you. So let’s get right into it.
What Is Meditation?
Meditation is a mental, emotional, visual and spiritual communication with yourself and your spirit. Of course, you know that even as a human being, you are only a spirit, dwelling in a human body. But we are not going into that now; that will be a topic for another day. We are only going to focus on meditation and how to do it the right and straightforward way. So let’s continue.
You don’t always have to sit down and fold your legs, raise your palms and join them together just like you always see in online meditation images. You must not always go to a secluded location where you will experience the most silent and solitary atmosphere. What I’m trying to say exactly is that you don’t need all of the above-mentioned settings or atmosphere to have a good meditation.
You can have a good meditation right there, right now, while you are lying down on your bed. It doesn’t have to cause you stress again before you can do that. All you need to do is close your eyes, focus your mind on whatever you want to meditate on, continue to visualise it and make sure you place your entire focus on it for some time. Keep looking at it and keep seeing it with the eyes of your mind while your eyes are closed.
Make sure you give it all your concentration and do not allow anything at all to distract you. Now this is meditation, and you can always do this wherever you are. All you need is to make sure that there is nothing there to distract you, because meditation in any form needs total concentration and focus.
Any time you close your eyes and start visualising an event which you have been hoping for or dreaming about, you are meditating. Now you see why I told you earlier in my introduction that after reading this blog post, you will realise that you do meditate from time to time without knowing it. And this is it. One thing you should know is that meditation is so powerful, and the manifestation of our meditations is so real and tangible.
This is why you should always be mindful of your thoughts and what you allow into your mind. Because you are going to manifest them eventually. And so, this brings us to the factors we should consider and have in mind whenever we are embarking on a meditation exercise.
Five Special Factors To Consider While Embarking On Meditation
1. Be Mindful Of Your Thoughts and Intentions
For you to have an effective and fruitful meditation that will yield a good result, you have to be mindful of what your thoughts and intentions are. This is because thoughts and intentions lead to visualisation and meditation, then meditation leads to manifestation, and you can only manifest what you meditate on. So always be cautious of your thoughts and intentions because that’s what you are going to manifest in the long run.
I understand that sometimes, if not most times, a lot of negative thoughts will keep flooding the human’s mind. This is why you must always be mindful and very careful not to accommodate negative thoughts in your brain. It can affect your thoughts and then your manifestation.
2. Be More Intentional About Your Focus and Concentration
Now this is why I told you that it doesn’t matter where you are when you start the meditation exercise. Like I said, you don’t have to go out of your way to have a good meditation. All that is needed is to make sure you are in a calm place at that moment. It could be when you are already in bed, waiting to fall asleep. It can also be at your workplace, especially when you arrive at work in the morning and find a calm atmosphere.
In whatever way you want to do it, make sure you are in an environment and at a time when you can concentrate and be more focused.
3. Be More Creative In your Mind
Hey, just be more creative, feel free to create whatever it is you want in your mind during the meditation exercise. Please don’t be scared and don’t be sceptical about it… Trust me, it will surely manifest in a matter of time. I can assure you of that because I’m a living witness. I would have loved to tell you more about why I said I’m a living witness, but let me leave that for another day. All you need to do now is to bookmark this blog and keep coming back to it every day.
But what I can assure you is that if you can create what you want in your mind and continue to meditate and visualise it from time to time, you will surely have it. It may only take a little time, but they will surely come to you. Just take it from me.
And it won’t be fair at all if I forget to tell you that you don’t have to fold your hands and keep waiting for it to manifest. You must put in some work while waiting. Just work and meditate, that is the formula.
Prioritise Taking a Deep Breath As You Meditate
I am not a medical doctor, but from my personal experience so far, I can assure you that one of the things taking a deep breath does for you is calming your mind and setting it free from distraction, I am talking about all those distractive thoughts that may come to flood your head whenever you want to focus on your meditation and visualization, Taking a deep breath will save you from that moment of distraction.
Furthermore, deep breathing will calm your nerves and normalise your heartbeat. As a result of this, you will be free from tension and anxiety. You will have this peace of mind and calmness in your head. This will surely guarantee you a peaceful and prosperous meditation exercise.
Forgiveness Is Also an Essential Tool at This Point
Make no mistake about this: you have to forgive. I know, and I understand it’s challenging. But whatever it is, you have to free your mind of that burden of grudges and resentment. Trust me, they can block your manifestation from happening. Believe me when I say I understand. I understand that some people do not deserve to be forgiven, but hey, what if I tell you that this time around, it is not about them, but entirely about you.
Also, I have some good news for you. Forgiving them does not mean they have escaped their rewards. I hope you understand. Or have you forgotten about the law of karma? The best you can do for yourself at this point is to forgive them on your own and free your mind from that emotional torture and trauma, then leave them for karma to take care of them the way it pleases.
Take Away
The act of meditation is not a herculean task. It’s not as difficult as you think. The truth is that you meditate almost every day without knowing it. And the manifestations have been coming to you without your knowledge of how they happened. But all you know is that the universe has been showing you love and favour, which is still okay. But I want to let you know today that only if you can step up and be more conscious of your meditation and visualisation through the thoughts and creativity of your mind, you are surely going to achieve more and manifest more.
