In this part 2; we will go from wormwood and garlic to bay leaf, camphor, and cloves, we will explore five more plants associated with spiritual protection in different cultural and spiritual traditions. 6. Wormwood
Even the name sounds bitter, and rightly so. Warm wood is for when you are done tolerating evil. It is not for decoration. It is a spiritual tool. Brew it into tea or sprinkle it around; wormwood destabilises spiritual altars and torments those who try to operate in your space illegally.
Illegally, people have used it to cleanse objects given by witches spiritually: bracelets, pictures, clothes and even gifts.
I recall a story about a woman who kept receiving cursed items disguised as blessed gifts. After boiling wormwood and using it to wash her hands, her headaches stopped. She took the remaining water and poured it at her gate, and the giver of the gifts never returned.
Wormwood reveals and removes. It is bitter, yes, but that bitterness is what drives evil. It announces spiritual war, which is hated because it cancels their rituals before they can even start. Each of these 5 herbs plays a unique but powerful role in spiritual redemption.
They do not require dramatic rituals. They work through intention, purity and prayer. They activate the authority God has already given you. You do not need to fear witchcraft when you are spiritually equipped.
One thing I want you to note: these herbs are not charms. God created them for healing. They protect you and set boundaries the enemy cannot cross.
The truth is, if you learn to use them properly, your home becomes a sanctuary. Your dreams return to peace. Your family breaks out of longstanding bondage. You stop reacting and start commanding, because spiritual knowledge does that.
These herbs create a spiritual perimeter. It empowers you to take back the ground the enemy stole. Many people are spiritually open, but not spiritually guarded. They feel everything, sense everything, but protect nothing.

Hyssop speaks Cleansing, Franken says, draws heaven near. Myrrh seals victory. Rule exposes deception.
Wormwood removes the invisible snakes that try to hide in your atmosphere; that is why. Witches do not just fear people who pray; they fear people who understand what they are doing. Please start thinking about your home, your family, your relationships. Are there patterns that do not make sense? Cycles of loss? Confusion, delays, or sickness that hit at the same time every month; 2 visitors leave, and suddenly things go wrong.
These are spiritual signs that your environment is under siege, and that is where these five herbs come in. They are not just plants; they are spiritual response teams. They go where your physical eyes cannot see. Eyes cannot see and fight what your natural hands cannot touch, and when used with faith, they solve your spiritual problems and win while you sleep.
This is not the time to slow down; this is the time to prepare, because witches do not wait for you to find out what their plan is. They plan in silence; they monitor in secrecy. But when you burn this wormwood and anoint it with myrrh, and fill your air with the sweet scent of frankincense, you will see that they are going to lose access.
You become spiritually loud. Your home becomes untouchable, and your presence becomes fire to the camp of the wicked.
That is what these five herbs do. They do not just protect; they proclaim war in the spirit, and every believer should be using them.
Let us now go deeper. Some herbs are for fear, not just because they destroy, but because they block, shield and defend.
7. Garlic
Garlic is one of the most powerful, yet underestimated, herbs in spiritual warfare. In many homes, it’s seen only as a cooking ingredient, but in spiritual matters, Garlic is protection. In its raw form, when the atmosphere around you feels spiritually thick, when you constantly wake up with heaviness or feel watched even in your own home, Garlic steps in like a soldier.
I once spoke with a mother who lived in a rented house where three previous tenants mysteriously fell sick and moved out. She would wake up every morning feeling drained and anxious. I told her to crush fresh garlic and place it near her windows and under her bed for seven days while praying. On the third day, she said the nightmare stopped. By the 7th day, Peace had returned to her home, and her energy was back. That is the spiritual power of Garlic.
Garlic chokes out spiritual parasites. It releases an order in the spirit that demons cannot tolerate, and they cannot stand homes where garlic has been activated through prayer and authority.
8. Bay leaves
Bay leaves are quiet, but they are spiritually loud. Many people burn them for aroma, but few know what happens in the spiritual realm when you burn bay leaves. This leaf can block lines of communication with witchcraft.
Some people constantly suffer from strange dreams, spiritual attacks, spying, or repeated misfortunes after receiving visits or calls. One woman told me she will write the names of those she suspected were behind her torment on paper and bind them while praying for God to disconnect their access to her spirit. Within a week, the person stopped calling.
The other person says she placed bay leaves under her pillow and saw herself fighting and defeating a dark figure that had tormented her in dreams for months.
Bay leaves do not play. With discernment, they block spiritual traffic and catch manipulation courts.
9. Camphor
Camphor is different; it doesn’t just chase away, but it also purifies deeply. Its cold, piercing aroma is feared in the spiritual world because, when burned or dissolved in water and used to wipe surfaces, it cuts through 2 layers of spiritual influence like a blade and purges the home.
I told this story some time ago about a man whose house always seemed to smell strange and make unexplained noises. He tried playing music, fasting, and even changing bedrooms in the same house; none of it worked until someone told him to burn camphor daily for a week while praying.
So he did as told by placing a camphor tablet on the coal and letting the smoke fill every corner. And guess what happened next:
By day three, the smell stopped. By day 7, the noises were gone. Camphor works like spiritual bleach, which is hated because it exposes residue from rituals, curses, or unclean spirits. It brings your home back to a neutral, peaceful spiritual state.
10. Cloves
Cloves are tiny, but they hold massive spiritual power. They are used to destroy spiritual eyes that monitor and control people. These small seeds can be crushed, boiled or burned to confuse and dismantle demonic systems.
I remember a story about a lady who was always being watched. She felt eyes on her back even when alone, and sometimes she dreamed of cameras or people watching her. She’d soak her clothes in water overnight and use that water to wash her face every morning while praying—spiritual blindness over her enemies. The dream stopped. The monitoring presence disappeared. She said she felt invisible in the spirit for the first time in years.
