I can bet you that though meditation is a common word, not many people know and understand what it truly means and how to apply it for a better and more effective result. How do I know? Honestly, when I was starting, it took me some time to research, study and understand what Meditation is truly all about. Again, I remember asking some people whom I believed might know better; none of them were able to explain it to me the way I was expecting them to.

So today in this blog post, I am going to break it down for you in its simplest form so that you will understand it very well and also know the simplest but most effective way to apply it so that you will get the best of its benefits. Meditation is a mental, emotional, visual and spiritual communication with yourself and your spirit. Of course, you know that even as a human being, you are only a spirit, dwelling in a human body. But we are not going into that now; that will be a topic for another day. We are only going to focus on meditation and how to do it the right and simple way. So let’s continue.

You don’t always have to sit down and fold your legs, raise your palms up and join them together just like you always see it on the internet meditation images. You must not always go to a separate and deserted location where you will experience the most silent and solitary atmosphere. What I’m trying to say exactly is that you don’t need all of the above-mentioned settings or atmosphere to have a good meditation.

You have a good meditation right there, right now, while you are lying down on your bed. It does not have to put you under stress again before you can do that. All you need to do is close your eyes, tune your mind into whatever it is that you want to meditate on, continue to visualize it and make sure you place your entire focus on it for some time. Keep looking at it and keep seeing it with the eyes of your mind while your eyes are closed.

Make sure you give it your concentration and do not allow anything at all to distract you. Now this is meditation, and you always do this at any place you find yourself. All you need is to make sure that there is nothing there to distract you, because meditation in any form needs total concentration and focus.

Any time you close your eyes and start visualizing an event that you have been hoping for or dreaming about, you are meditating. Now you see why I told you earlier in my introduction that after reading this blog post, you will realise that you do meditate from time to time without knowing it. And this is it, one thing you should know is that meditation is so powerful and manifestations of our meditations are so real.

This is why you should always be mindful of your thoughts and the things you allow to get into your mind. Because you are going to manifest them eventually. And so, this brings us to the factors we should consider and have in mind whenever we are embarking on a meditation exercise.

For you to have an effective and fruitful meditation that will yield a good result, you have to be mindful of what your thoughts and intentions are. This is because thoughts and intentions lead to visualization and meditation, then meditation leads to manifestation, and you can only manifest what you meditate on. So always be very careful and conscious of your thoughts and intentions because that’s what you are going to manifest in the long run.

I understand that sometimes, if not most times, a lot of negative thoughts will keep on flooding the human’s head and mind. This is why you must always be mindful and very careful not to accommodate negative thoughts in your brain. It can affect your thoughts and then your manifestation.
