I wanna talk to you about 5 things you need to fulfill your destiny. A lot of people still do not understand the actual meaning of the word ‘Destiny’. There is a reason why you are here on this earth; there is a greater purpose for which you were created. You have a special assignment to complete and a special goal to achieve; That is what is known as your destiny. So, your desire and quest for achieving this goal and completing this special assignment is what we can describe as fulfilling your destiny. Now let’s look at 5 things you need to fulfill this destiny of yours.
1. You need God to fulfill your destiny
According to John 4: 24, God is a spirit. But I want you to understand that God is not the only spirit that exists on earth. God is not the only spirit. On earth, you need to understand that the apostle says you need God to fulfill destiny. The apostle says you need a spirit, and in this case, God, because God is a spirit. So, in order to fulfill destiny, you need a spirit.
Anytime you see exceptionality of any kind, a spirit is behind it. It’s just that people don’t know. We buy into the perception of what we see and what we are allowed to know. No man can rise without a backing, and that backing- we are not just talking about men backing them up; we are talking about spirits taking care of that man. So anytime you see exceptionality of any kind, trust me when I tell you that a spirit is behind it. So, if you are going to be exceptional, you need a spirit, and in your case, you need God, because God is a spirit.
In the book of Samuel, it says. I make rich, and I make poor. God is talking. So prosperity and poverty are distinguished by spirits and not by hard work or one’s expertise in a certain field. You can be good and still fail. You can have all that it takes and still stumble. There must be a spirit backing you. As long as you are in the realm of men, you need God.
He is the Father of all flesh, so it does not matter what your destiny is; in order to fulfill it, you need him.
2. Wisdom
So you fulfill destiny by wisdom. What is wisdom? Wisdom is depth. The Greek word for wisdom is Sophia. Sophia is the wisdom that belongs to men. There is wisdom that belongs to spirits that men can tap into. But then there is wisdom that belongs to men, and that wisdom that belongs to men is Sophia; the word Sophia means or rather refers to, sound judgment, insight, practical intelligence and a deep understanding of life.
When you read Daniel chapter 1, verse 17, the Bible says that Daniel had special; another translation says he had wisdom. Now Sophia refers to sound judgment, practical intelligence and a deep understanding of life. That’s what Sophia really means, unlike raw data or technical information. Sophia implies the ability to apply life experiences, discernment and moral clarity to everyday actions.
That is Sophia. Sophia is not the type of wisdom that belongs to spirits- no, sir- it is the wisdom that belongs to men. That is why you can grow in Sophia. You can look at yourself in your room and come out a different woman. Why? Because you have grown in Sophia. Never underestimate Sophia.
Wisdom is the ability to know what to do. How to do it, when to do it, and who to do it with. Never forget that. And sometimes you might not know how to do it, but somebody can come and start teaching you like this and impact your wisdom. And that wisdom that they are impacting you with is Sophia. And all of a sudden you are enlightened. You now know what to do, how to do it, when to do it, and who to do it with.
Proverbs 24: 3 Through wisdom, a house is built. You have been trying to fulfill your destiny just by praying. Somebody told you to pray about it, and all you have done is pray about it, but nothing has changed. As a matter of fact, your problems have intensified. The more you pray, the more you get frustrated. Why? Because not every problem in your life is subject to prayer. There are problems you will encounter that are subject to wisdom, subject to Sophia. You need to sit down, analyze, think a little bit and strategize. What I’m saying to you here is that you cannot fulfill your destiny outside of wisdom.
3. You need the anointing.
Go to look. 4 verse 18: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me; because he has anointed me, now he is preaching because of the anointing. He’s healing the brokenhearted because of the anointing. He is preaching deliverance to the captives because of the anointing. So, he’s going around, not because he has a good heart. It is not sympathy that is causing him to go around healing the sick. It is the anointing. It is not zeal. It is not hunger or desire to perform. No, ma’am. No, sir. It is the anointing!
The anointing is the ability to perform. God can never give you a responsibility that He has not given you the ability to carry.
4. You need grace
People don’t know that it is because of grace that we remain protected even when we did not pray for protection. It is because of grace. Grace will cause you to win in places where you yourself know that you don’t have what it takes to actually win. Grace will put you in rooms you never dreamed of. Grace will open doors you did not even know existed. Grace will cause people to like you for no reason. And not just people, but the right people.
That is why Jesus came. He didn’t just come with the truth; he came with grace. You need grace. You need grace to fulfill destiny. Ask Noah. The Bible says, and Noah found grace. God didn’t just say, ” You know what? No, I want you to build something massive. He had to find grace. You need grace.
5. You need destiny helpers
Life is about who you meet and who you miss. Every season of your life is connected to somebody. Whenever God wants to lift you, whenever God wants to take you to another level, he will bring that person. And whenever God wants to protect you, he will remove a person. Meet the uplifting. Miss the training. Some people you should not meet; others you should not miss.
If you meet those you should miss, there will be a problem. But if you miss those you should meet. There will be a delay. So, there are people who are delayed not because the devil is fighting them, but because they have not met their destiny helpers. Job remained so frustrated; he did not know where to go, and he was delayed. Why? Because the men were supposed to have left already, but then God sent Elijah to remind him. There are people you should meet, and there are people you should miss. That is why you need to be careful about who you associate with.
You need to be careful about who you associate with. Why? Association brings assimilation, which brings importation, which brings elevation so that you can elevate. It depends on who you associate with, and the opposite is true. So, association brings assimilation, which brings importation, which then brings elevation. That is why t you cannot afford to associate with everybody. Don’t work with people who are not going in your direction.
Can two walk together unless they agree? The next time you are choosing friends. Oh, who should be in your life? I’m using the word choosing because you are the CEO of your life. You have the power to hire, to fire, to delete, and to block. So, the next time you are choosing your friends or who should be in your life or who should be part of your life, I want you to understand that you are choosing your destiny. The people in your life will either make you or break you. Never forget that. It’s either somebody is making you or breaking you.
God has commanded us to love our neighbors, but he has not commanded you to make everybody your friend. Love is a must according to the Scriptures, but relationships are by choice. The people in your life will either increase you, decrease you, or neutralize you.
