Destiny is a threat to Satan. Destiny means God has something for you. And you are just waiting for the time for that which God has for you to manifest. So an attack on your prayer life is an attack on your destiny. When the enemy wants to stop that which God has for you in the Spirit, but is waiting for the time to manifest, He will stop you in your prayer life.
He’s not stopping your prayer life so you don’t wake up and start shouting. He’s stopping your prayer life so that what God has for you cannot manifest in time. So destiny is a threat to the enemy.
So every time the enemy fights a child of God, he is fighting them because of their destiny. He might not really know who you are, but there is something about destiny that will cause him to come after you.
Satan is after people’s destinies. Why is that? Because fulfilling your destiny is the assurance that Satan’s doom is imminent. The more people fulfil their destinies, the more Satan himself sees that he’s a failure. Sees that he’s a failure.
So when Satan sees a man or a woman with a destiny, they become what I call the centre of his interest. He does not have as much as we think he does. He can’t waste resources. On people who are going nowhere.
So you will only be of interest in the sight of the enemy as long as you are a child of destiny. The thing is, many Christians don’t know this; there are a lot of wrong philosophies that Christians have subscribed to. Things like: if you don’t want Satan to trouble you, don’t bother him.
What you don’t believe in will not trouble you. I’m telling you, you have Christians who believe that the only time Satan will attack you is when you go looking for him. Some don’t even believe in the existence of Satan.
You are joking. Go and read your Bible; you will realise that we wrestle against flesh and blood. Spiritual warfare is real. Spiritual warfare is around us, and spiritual warfare is ongoing. Spiritual warfare happens even when you’re not aware that it is happening.
And some of you are in it. You worry right now, but something is taking place in the spirit. Concerning your life. There are people who believe that as long as you don’t bother Satan, he will not bother you.
Well, he doesn’t want you to bother him, so he won’t bother you. He’s after your destiny. There is something that once you carry it, Satan will come after you no matter what. There are things in the spirit that, once you carry them. They turn you into a target; they don’t want to make you a target, and because you carry them, you become a target.
Many are targets today not because they produced results. Not because they’ve done something special, but many are targets today because of what they’re killing. Why are many targets today? They’re targets because of what they carry.
You don’t choose to be a target in the realms of the spirit, but what you carry will expose you and make you a target. So you are a target because of what you’re carrying on the inside. Imagine being a target because of what you’re carrying, and you still don’t know what you’re carrying.
You are suffering, but you don’t know why. You are being limited, but you don’t know why. You are challenged, but you don’t even know the reason why you are challenged. The darkness of ignorance has destroyed many destinies. Imagine being fought, and you don’t know why they are fighting you.
One reason David never cried out about why he was really fighting him. It’s because David was away that the person he is now is different from the person he was before the anointing. With anointing, one becomes a target. Bears you didn’t know were in the jungle show up. Lions will come after what you are looking after. Lions will come for what is under you.
Don’t sleep on your destiny. When you read Revelation 12, verses 1 to 6, the Bible tells us about a woman. It also tells us about a child and the great red dragon. So you have three things in Revelation chapter 12, verses 12 verses 6: you have a woman, you have a child, you have a dragon as a matter of fact, the great red dragon.
So you have the great dragon; the Bible says this woman, as we know, she was clothed with the sun. She had moved under her feet. She had a crown of stars. But wait a minute, that didn’t move the devil. That did not move the dragon until the Bible says she was heavily pregnant; she had conceived a child, and the child was about to come out.
What are you talking about now? And the Bible says the dragon came. The dragon was interested in what she was carrying. You see, the sooner this makes sense to you. The quicker you rise.
