How to overcome fear even when you can’t Help Yourself

Fear is an unhealthy emotion that can be triggered by situations such as pain or feelings of uncertainty and instability. Sometimes, you can be afraid of what you don’t even know; you will experience uneasiness and restlessness all over, suspecting that your blood pressure has gone up again. You become sad and afraid of what you are not even entirely sure of.

In this blog post, I will explore the underlying reasons why you are experiencing these unpleasant moments and teach you how to overcome fear even when you can’t help yourself. If you are ready, I am ready. So let’s do this!

How can I overcome fear?

First, it is essential to understand that fear can be an illusion. An illusion is a false appearance or an impression of reality that can be deceptive, often not reflecting reality but rather existing only in the mind. This means that if you want to learn how to overcome fear, you must guide your mind against unnecessary and disturbing thoughts that can overwhelm it.

Have you ever noticed that most times when you are scared of something, when it is time for you to face it, you will become disappointed to discover that you have been afraid of nothing all along? That is how fear often works; it presents itself to you as a big problem from a distance. But when you summon courage and approach it, you realise that it is less than what you were creating and imagining in your mind about it.

So you must guide your thoughts and your mind. Do not allow some unnecessary, scary thoughts or troubling images to overwhelm your mind. Always remind yourself that you can face whatever comes your way at any time. That is how to overcome fear.

Have a Strong Purpose.

You will easily be overcome by fear when you lack a strong purpose for anything you undertake. The purpose of the project must be stronger and more important than the project itself; this will give you a greater sense of purpose and a strong will to conquer fear when it comes to attack you.

The stronger your purpose, the stronger your courage and willpower to face and overcome any obstacle or challenge that may stand in the way of achieving your goal.

It was my strong purpose and desire to work remotely on my computer and earn money from anywhere in the world, without the overwhelming stress of driving to my shop or office every day, and also avoiding the terrible experience of daily road traffic, which led me to become a digital creator today.

When I ventured into tech and digital creation, I could barely perform basic tasks like copy and paste on my computer. I gave myself the challenge of learning to become a software engineer without even knowing how to use a computer, let alone write code or different programming languages.

But when I remembered the joy and luxury of working from home and being able to fly to wherever I want at my own time, it boosted my morale and gave me the strength and burning desire to face it. Today, I am a software engineer. I was able to put myself through all these and still achieve it because I have a powerful purpose. So, we must have a strong purpose, and that is how to overcome fear.

Work on your self-confidence.

If you lack confidence in yourself, you will live in fear every day of your life. As I mentioned earlier, fear is an unhealthy emotion that can be triggered by situations such as pain or feelings of uncertainty and instability.

What if I am unable to meet the deadline? What if I cannot raise the necessary funds? What if it doesn’t come that way, I expect? Do you know what you are doing to yourself when you keep allowing these troubling questions to ring in your head? You are simply preventing and blocking the energy vibration that is working to fix your problems and bring you your heart’s desire.

Hey! Trust yourself, believe in yourself. Stop feeling less of yourself and know that you are enough to face your challenges and fears. Fear is a hindrance to your progress; it can set you back and block your progress. But when you have confidence in yourself and boost your self-esteem, you will hardly get scared of anything.

Not believing in yourself is not the key to overcoming fear; instead, you must work on building your self-confidence and self-assurance to overcome any fear.

Understand That Whatever You Fear Tends to Grow Larger.

Have you noticed that when you have a particular injury in any part of your body and try to remove your mind from it, consciously or unconsciously, this injury often completely heals without you knowing it? This is because you paid less attention to it. It is also because you did not allow that injury or wound in your body to scare you. As a result, it gradually heals on its own and leaves your body for good.

However, the other injury that has been giving you concern and making you uncomfortable remains, and even gets bigger. This is because whatever you give your attention to grows. The fact that you allow it to continue providing you with more concern and worry gives it the energy and momentum to persist and increase, rather than heal and live your life to the fullest.

The first step to overcoming fear is learning to ignore and pay less attention to whatever poses a threat to you or your loved ones. This could be a life-threatening health condition or maybe a financial challenge. Stop paying attention to it, ignore it as if it doesn’t exist, and watch it disappear over time.

Develop Visualisation Skills.

Close your eyes and see all the good things you have been craving and wishing to have. See them in your possession and have a strong belief that they will all be yours very soon in the real world.

Visualise that you are a wealthy and influential person, see yourself in your dream house and car. See yourself having a lot of money that you can use to overcome any financial challenges that may come your way subsequently.

Now let me tell you the truth about the visualisation exercise. You are only telling the universe that you want all these things, and you are also positioning your mind in the correct way to acquire and own those things you see in your vision.

This is also how to overcome fear, as you are teaching yourself to think like a wealthy person who can solve their financial problems. You will be big to this. Act like you are already rich and will never be afraid of anything again.

Visualisation helps you to build up and fortify your mind against the unknown and unforeseen circumstances.

Not just the visualisation skill, but also learn other high-income paying tech skills. Having these skills will equip your mind and boost your self-confidence, because you now know that you are well-equipped to face your financial challenges, and so you will have nothing to be afraid of again.

Summary.

These are real techniques that can help you overcome fear and take charge of your life. Most of the time, fear does not exist. And even if it does, it is only in your mind. That which scares you is not meant to scare you; you are the one who lets it scare you.

Overcoming fear involves guiding your mind. Be mindful of your thoughts and believe in yourself. Learn skills that will equip you financially and strengthen your mind, knowing that you are now financially prepared to tackle the challenges that may come your way.

This is all I have for you today on how to overcome fear. Feel free to share your thoughts or experiences in the comment box, and let us know what you think.
